Episode 49 is finally available... Sorry for the delays, which were technical, illness and interlacing related.
Just for reference, this episode contained 120 separate instances of interlacing... That's a switch from "pure" interlaced video (every frame interlaced) to no interlacing, or back, on average every 5.95 seconds. In other news, someone in Tsubaraya's video dept. hates me.

Lots of us are going to be at Fanime or otherwise out of town this weekend so we decided to get this episode out in advance. If you'll be at Fanime, drop into ConOps some evening and shout "Crayfish are Awesome!". Chances are someone will respond :)

Happy pack-day! New episode packs are now available! Or rather, the Hikari Saga pack is now available and later today I'll be releasing the Moebius 34 to 42 pack.
As before, help with seeding for episode packs is especially appreciated since it frees up our bandwidth to share new episodes :)
Just in case you don't know, there is a 'trick' to bittorrent packs: If you already have all the episodes downloaded from us then you can...
- Start downloading the pack normally.
- Once the download starts (you're actually getting a few bytes) stop or pause the torrent.
- Find where you were downloading to on your harddrive... It should have lots of files which are where the episodes would be if you completed the download.
- Copy the episodes that you download in the past over these 'empty' files.
- Restart the download in your bittorrent client.
At this point, after a little while checking the new files, your bittorrent should decide it's completed the download and start seeding!
Why is this so important? It means that you can start helping us to seed without having to download another 3Gb+ of data from our poor computers :)

Yes, we slipped a week. Worse still we're planning on going to a bi-weekly schedule for a while. Sorry about that. Basically, we were using all of our collective spare time just to keep up with the releases and that couldn't go on. Still, a new episode is now up for your enjoyment so don't be too sad...
On a different note, please do let us know how you feel about the project so far. We're not looking for heaps of praise here or anything like that, but (most of us) are pretty new to the whole subtitling thing so knowing what you thing we're doing right and what we could brush up on would be great. E-mail us at admin at fushigichan dot com (mails telling us to move up to a daily release schedule will get you fed to the tame Bogal).
